Anyone on here running Vossen Wheels (HF-2, HF-5, HF-7 ideally)?

Post by Mr Footlong » Tue Nov 07, 2023 11:00 am

Hi there. This place is pretty dead compared to the C5 area of the forum, but hoping for a bit more than tumbleweed with this one (we'll soon see).

I am planning for summer wheels for my 23' Vorsprung, leaving the OE wheels as the winter set with Conti WinterContact TS860 S tyres.

I have done YouTube to death, along with the Vossen galleries and I can't make my mind up on which to go for. I have narrowed it down to the HF-2, HF-5 or HF-7 series. I would LOVE the LC2-C1 wheels, but I can't justify that expense!

I am also unsure of the colour choice, torn between Anthracite and the Bronze. There are galleries of the wheels here -

Pics of the car are below, only difference now is that the fronts windows have been lightly tinted -

Any thoughts? Thanks :).

i would say the HF5 are the ones as there very similar to the Audi performance alloys
bronze is smart too but a safe bet would be anthracite
HF2 and HF7 are nice but too fussy

but a nice problem to have

I prefer the H5 out of those, however on your blue, these could look superb:

With more wheels there too, including some slick bronze H5’s

I ended up with those silver Forgeline wheels, but it’s on my white car … so different look

Not sure if the links work and good luck with the selection. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I nearly ended up with Vossen - came very close and I’m a sucker for the VFS-1, but I actually ended up with those Forgelines in stock wheel dimensions BUT in 21” onto which I’ve fitted 295x35 PS4S and couldn’t be happier as they’re a great combo for potholed crappy Aussie roads

Oh yeh … the stock wheels and tyres weigh a tonne in comparison … bloody hard to throw around to put into storage. it’s no wonder the new RS6 Performance version goes harder as it doesn’t have boat anchors on each axle

And the Forgelines show off the ceramics much better :biggrin3:
