Someone told me if you turn off traction control it lets you rev it, probs an old wives tale.

I’ve just tried it on mine, still has a limiter. Also tried it in N with left foot on the brake, park brake off. Still has a limiter

Their is traction control off and traction control OFF... keep it pressed for 3 seconds and try again

Yeah it was fully off ESC OFF warning in the middle of the screen after holding for 3 secs

I've tried it too, and the only thing that worked was popping it into neutral as its moving, then you can rev it. Defeats the object though as it has to be rolling along to do it

I also have found the car has another party trick......it has an amazing ability to get you a speeding ticket. First one ever in my life, on the M40, mobile unit, the one and only time I had not switched to Waze in the MMI, pulled out past some slow traffic, foot down, look up, oh bugger!

I’m not sure I get revving any engine unloaded, even more so engines with turbo and GPF. Pretty much a given it’ll sound crapola!

Lol everyone who buys Rs7/Rs6 c7 I bet heard how it sounds and sound was also a point

If your a petrol head then sound has a lot to do with it, I do find the crackle maps that come on stock cars a little embarassing though, no need for it.
