One thing I missed about the M3 is the HUD. It displayed speedo, rev counter and gear indicator.
I was a bit disappointed with the Audi HUD showing speedo only.

This morning I went through all the settings in the MMI and somehow, I managed to get a new HUD display with oil temperature, gear indicator and mph.
It's still not as good as BMWs but it's better than it was.

If you press on I’m sure the HUD does shift lights for gear change?

Not a rev counter but does the job!

No need to go through the MMI settings, just press the HUD button. It has three settings, Off, Normal (shows speed and Sat Nav etc.) and Sports mode/Lap mode (shows as above but will not show Sat Nav etc.). Just keep pressing the button to go through the options

I agree compare to the BMW the HUD on my RS5 is weak.
