New items fitted!

Wish I had done it sooner!

Really pleased with the look. Bought a set of genuine set of Audi 5 arm peak forged wheels and had them refurbished, diamond cut with gloss black inserts to match the gloss black on the rest of the car.

Next up, changing the front splitter to a Maxton V2 (current front splitter is a V1).
Subtle change to a more OEM Plus look before its ready to go.

Before & after...

Thank you for the kind words!

Very pleased with the new wheels. I did get the car polished last summer, so have tried to keep on top of it.

Booked in for ceramic coating next month.

Itching for the new front splitter to arrive (been over three weeks now waiting for it to arrive). Will add more pics once that’s been added.

New front splitter now fitted. I know its subjective but I feel my gamble paid off and it looks more OEM plus and I love the look of it even more now!
Before and after below. Before is V1 (pictured in the driveway) and after is V2 (Maxton Design) - handy for anyone looking to see the differences if going down this route.

Very nice! Do you have to declare these mods to your insurer?

It would be unusual if you did not have to tell your insurance company of any changes you make to your car, visible or otherwise (tuned) that changes it from how it left the factory. Yes, insurnace companies are known to scan crashed cars nowadays to see if it has been tuned and may even be able to access your on board black box if it has one. This will allow them to 'adjust' the settlement figure for your car should you be unlucky enough to loose or crash it.
I know the car is 'knickable' by virtue of it being an RS4, which is why mine has its RS badges removed. Those who know there cars know what it is, except some Ford ST drivers. :bigblink:
But insurance companies look at modifcations that make the car look more desirable as an increased risk.
The only thing I ever got away with was fitting winter tyres, even then I had to tell them when I put them on and took them off, though with them on in the winter it potentially decreased my chances of an accident!

Yes you do. I added a full body kit to my insurance but I don’t think it made much difference compared to the quotes I was getting when I ran some for RS4’s without bodykits and Milltek exhaust.

Here is the picture I used to determine if I wanted to change from V1 to V2 (top to bottom):
I find the V2 looks more OEM Plus. Chin isn't as deep so easier to avoid scraping speed bumps, not as wide and flows closer and along the RS4's lower splitter very nicely.

Great stuff! Good choice and I don’t even think you need the rest of the body kit. V2 alone blends in nicely.

I liked V1 but it was obviously aftermarket looking but I was really pleased with how V2 turned out.

Alas, the wheels and the front splitter were the last changes - I sold the car very quickly after I had the splitter put on!Image
