Came across this article today.

Not much, but for now we can at least expect the next gen Audi mid-compact RS Avant will still look sleek without a monstrous grille.
But for 600+BHP and over 2 tonnes mark I would pick up a used RS6 instead unless the car has hugely improved handling.

The exhaust pipes moving inboard feels a bit weird.

That article says the new RS4 will be called RS5, with the RS4 name reserved for future EVs. So you could say the next gen RS4 is full EV and the RS5 is getting an Avant model.
I know Porsche launched the new Macan yesterday as an all EV range. I mention because the last gen used the 2.9 V6.

The car in the photo has 2 exhausts on the left and one on the right so I don't think it's the finished deisgn.

Good point. The two silencer boxes for the 2.9L V6 on the current RS4 are quite big, and I wonder how Audi’s going to accommodate them with the rear differential, motor and battery etc around the rear axle. They’ll ditch the conventional quattro differentials altogether for sure, and replace them with a haldex couplings and motors just like the AMG C63S? I saw the boot space on C63S sedan and wasn’t too impressed.
