Does anyone have any (reliable?) gossip about whether the replacement of the B9 will be only internal combustion, hybrid or full electric? I heard it will be out second half of 2024.

Probably too early for any reliable info on the engine

Meanwhile there are the Competition and Competition Plus editions coming later this year. Not sure why though, was anyone really asking for a significantly stiffer ride?

Silly of Audi to choose that name, it invites comparison to the M3 for one thing. I will be surprised if more than a handful are imported.

Considering changing my order. I’ve registered interest with my dealer who said it’s first come first serve once books open next month.

A bit quicker though - only available in black, shame.
Would be a lot more fun if Audi ditched the V6 and used the 5 Pot EA855 EVO - yeah I know it's transverse normally but that has bucket-loads of character and sounds simply amazing..will never happen, we'll get some sort of EV instead.

That was my first thought too. I wonder how many people actually buy RS4's, which is marketed [and best suited] to being the ultimate day to day car, and think they'd prefer manually adjustable suspension for the track ??
I've done a few track days in my various RS4's over the year's and they're pretty rubbish to be honest

RS cars are great dailys but they're not sharp track tools.
I understand Audi are planning to enter a team in F1 soon and I wonder if the character of an RS will change.

Yes, agreed… 80% of the time it’s fine but once you go beyond that to get the max it all goes a bit crazy
