Is there any way you can permanently switch this off? The startup ritual of switching it off every time is getting a bit boring.

Still not seen another one on the road yet! Loads of RS3's though....

On other Audis you can turn it off or make it recall the last setting by using VCDS or one of the dingle apps like Carista maybe. I assume the B9 is no different.

Let me know if you figure this out. I have not been able to find anyone who has on the B9 RS4 or RS5

I have had no luck so far. I am trying using a dongle app called OBDeleven, cheap dongle, free app but then you have to buy credits each time you use it.

I have learned that stop/start does not operate when in S and I am tending to use S all the time now so it's less of a problem.
Car is too laggy in town in D.

I find that S is a bit juddery in S1 stopping at lights or start stop traffic at less than 5 mph. Only when creeping to a stop.

Some places (tuners) advertising disable of start/stop function for c£100 but need to go back to enable it. It sounds like a proper recode.

Will keep looking.

Dynamic mode has auto/start stop too, but the parameters seem to be different to have it enabled than in auto/comf. etc.
