Hi Spark,
Yeh it’s the Cobra Trac system.
I keep the fob with the key. It has a red led on it and a button. Don’t what the button does; scared to press it 😂
No body could tell me what the button does and I didn’t get any paperwork with the tracker when it was fitted.
Only got it fitted as I was told insurance company would insist. Turns out I didn’t need it and even with it fitted it didn’t reduce the premium. I won’t renew the subscription next year.
If it gets stolen I’ve got GAP insurance and if it got stolen I wouldn’t want it back anyway.
Hopefully it won’t come to that!
Here’s a few more gratuitous pics now that I’ve washed it!

Button tests the battery. The light will be lit when you press it. The batteries don’t last long and are easily replaced.

I do like those wheels. Mine does not have keyless entry , i went for the GAP insurance and got the car insurance down to £400 without any specific stipulations apart from its garaged over night securely .

Thanks Doodlebug.
Jubilee, I think my insurance was around £700 if I remember correctly. Best quote I’d had and it was a decent insurance company too.
I keep seeing people with these low premiums but I’ve never been able to get near them. I must live in a really dodgy area 😂
Yeh, I really like the wheels on mine but they are a bugger to clean!

The 20 inch 5 arm flag design alloys are a very easy to clean, you can get right into the inner wheel 360 degrees which makes cleaning away brake dust simple .I got my insurance through Privilege Insurance with a premium policy of cover. It make a difference on postcodes plus a clean licence. Also put my wife as a second driver, which brings it down.

Yeh, putting my wife on the policy cut my premium too.
I can see your alloys look easier to clean.
I never considered it to be honest.
Never normally wash my cars myself but have to now!!😂

Great photos, Jubilee👍.

Looking forward to getting mine. It’s been build and currently sitting in quality control.

Gawd knows when I’ll get it though🤔.

Similar to mine, I didn’t bother with the Comfort & Sound pack or Driver Assistance Pack. From experience the Audi sound system is pretty good I thought. I did have the Panoramic roof though, which I missed on my A4 Allroad
Did you get a decent discount?

Sounds nice Dens.
I’d have liked Nogaro but couldn’t bring myself to pay for exclusive paint.
Looking forward to pics when you get it👍

It would be interesting to know what the final product numbers will be of the B9.5 version RS4, as production was very limited in 2019 and with the current global situation I imagine 2020 sales will be smaller than anticipated. I’m sure that the next RS4 (B10) will be some kind of hybrid combination or all electric? Which could make the B9.5 versions very desirable in the future!

The B8 had a fairly limited production number especially compared to the B7.
As they were the final naturally aspirated cars it was said they’d be desirable too. Time will tell but values seem to be holding up well for low mileage well specced cars.
I doubt I’ll keep mine longer than 3 years or so.
With the tech in them now they’ll be hugely expensive to maintain in years to come compared with say the B7.
I think you’re right though; not many B9.5 will be sold and this will be the same for any luxury cars or anything else come to that.
I’m going to enjoy mine while I can and every time I drive it I can’t stop smiling. Can’t put a price on that!

Elpeterol, what spec did you order?
I think if I’d ordered just before lockdown I’d have cancelled and then re ordered a bit further down the line after negotiating a better deal.
Unless you’ve already got a cracking deal that is 🤔??
They are brilliant cars though!!
