Put some alloys with nice concave on and it'll be almost perfect.
previous- Pug 205 gti, 306 gti, 309 gti Goodwood.
Audi S3, S4 V8 avant.
Porsche Macan Turbo.
Gone but NEVER forgotten - C5 RS6 Misano red avant.

Now - Empty garage

If you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there!

Soo now i got the car back from the tuning-workshop.
690HP and 850nm it produce.

They also did alot of fun stuff with the VCDS-system

-Lowered 15mm
-The boot will now close with the key (Not standard in Sweden)
-The car sounds "Beep beep" when you lock it with the key (Standard feature that was disabled)
-The LED-stripe in the front headlight is now at 100% power instead of 30% as in stock
-The start/stop button remember the latest setting when the car is turned off (So i dont have to click the damn button everytime i turn the car on)

They also installed a Miltek Cat-back none resonated exhaust (With stock valves) sound-clip below: (But honestly the video wont give it any justice)

Tomorrow the car will go in for the wrap details and more :) ¨¨

Soundclip here:

Yeah i love those concave wheels. I got them on the R8 (Picture below)
But they are really horrible to maintain :( i dont know how many time i scratched it against curbs etc....

I actually like the stock 21 " rims that is on right now.. I will probally go for a similar rim for the winter-rubber.

Nice mods so far!

I'm not normally a fan of red cars but it looks so shiny in that first picture!

I also made the start / stop remember the last setting as I never have it on. But I made the LED light for the start / stop button to be the oppsite to normal because I didn't want the light on the button on all time i.e. normally the light comes on when start / stop is off but my light comes on when start / stop is on instead.

And I did the boot close with the key mod (only an option in the UK with the advanced key i.e. keyless entry). But I also made the change so the boot can close from the door switch too.

I don't like the way the DRL LED lights blink with the indicators so might change them to stay partly on with the indicator flash.

Thank you!
Yes the red color wont do any justice in pictures.. It is a really deep, red color (Like a Ferrari almost)
It really looks better in person then on pictures.

Since i have the Bixenon and not LED or facelift-led i really like the "stronger" light from the led-stripes. I usually drive with only them running (When it is not dark outside ofc)

I bought the Quattro-grill with black rings that will be installed tomorrow, along with some other minor upgrades. (I belive you had the Quattro grill specced from factory with your RS6 performance?) i really like to look of it.. It looks like a RS5 without the Quattro-emblem IMO.

What a monster of a car this is! :D

Misano is a pain to photo. It looks like this in the flesh -

The C7 would look perfect with wheels like this
previous- Pug 205 gti, 306 gti, 309 gti Goodwood.
Audi S3, S4 V8 avant.
Porsche Macan Turbo.
Gone but NEVER forgotten - C5 RS6 Misano red avant.

Progress 2016-10-10

The car is now at the workshop for some minor mods.
My first thought was that i should foil the entire car. But i started to like the red color more and more. So it will stay red.

Then i decided too only tint the front-driver and passenger window. But i ended up wanting them to tint all the windows (Except the windshield) because i wanted the tint too be a little bit darker then stock.

They will also foil the roof-racks, window-panels. Change the grill and tint the headlights & rear lights.

**Warning**
The new front parking assistance mounts in the front grill is not the same as in the stock grill.
So you cant keep the plastic bracket the the license plate is mounted on.. Lucky for me i dont use a license plate in the front.
So they will just foil the chrome frame behind the grill so it wont shine thrue the honeycomb-black (with chrome)

Nice work again.

Did you get any good photos of it with the roof rack off? This is a mod I'd thought about but wasn't sure if it would make it look worse.

Thx Mike!
I didnt since my phone died.... So typical.
But it really looked like something was missing without the roof-rack/bars. So i defenetly think you should keep it mounted.

Edit: i did found a better pic

Update 2016-10-11

<beep>.My.Life.....

Like some of you might read in my first post. I bought the RS6 since my R8 have been sitting at the workshop for around 1,5 - 2,5 months (I honestly lost count)
I never really liked the idea of loaning the R8 too friends. Atleast not when i was not sitting in the passenger seat.

I did ONE exception. And i got a text message around midnight saying: "Are you awake.......?"
I call him right the way. And apparently the diffuser and rear bumper had just fall off at the highway.... (Yeha right... :bash: )
But even if he never admitted what really happend. Atleast he took the costs from the insurance.

Now the R8 was finally ready to get delivered back to me soon.
Then i get a text message from the workshop saying: "Hi Rasmus. We will have to repaint and fix your front bumper for you. Unfortunately a customer scratched it while he had his car in reverse, this is ofcourse typical. But the driver takes all responsibility. Best regards XXXXXXX"

This is not happening....... another couple of weeks or so on the workshop now....

Got the beauty back from the Wrapstudio now :D

-All windows except windshield tinted (Darker then original)
-New Grill (Quattro-version) with black rings
-Wrapped roofrack
-Wrapped window-frames
-Wrapped front lip
-Tinted headlights
-Tinted rear lights

Horrible pictures. But i used my workphone... :/
I will snap some better pictures at a later time :)

Now im just waiting for the carbon-mirrors and winter-wheels.

Best regards
Rasmus

Much better. I was going to say you need to sort out your mirrors but then saw you have carbon ones on order. I have a pre facelift grille with brand new carbon quattro part that I will probably be selling soon if you are interested.
