Hi All,
Several weeks ago my undertray plastic dropped down. I managed to put it back on but had worn alot.

Then last week after forgetting about it once I hit a good speed it came off again. It was now badly worn and also frustrated me alot. Previous cars I've removed these. Anyhow I've noticed the car a little more unstable since and so thinking I should get a new one put on.

Problem I have is where do I find them, also I've heard someone can perhaps fabricate a metal one. I'd be interested to look at this as I do drive into forests to go watch rallies so thought be a good purchase.

Any ideas of the part I need. Is it called the undertray?

I'm not a B8 owner but if it is anything like other undertrays it will have specialist cooling ducts that are nesessary and it has an aerodynamic function. The one thing it isn't is a protective undertray. So to my mind there really isn't any substitute to one designed for your specific car.
