Well on tonights logging timing 6 was chucking up corrections of 6 and 7.5.

Switched to timing 5 and things seem okay, but I did a day of logging (albeit in the wet) on Friday and timing 6 was okay. Not sure if its my car or what but timing 5 is the SUL petrol setting I thought and I run Optimax and Millers...

almost 350 nM on tonights run though on low boost 9/timing 5 which is pretty good, and nearly up 10nm on the 'old' high boost settings we have logged previously.

boost and torque graphs to follow tomorrow from Simon

what does that mean? so what is the correct timing for optimax and millers? timing 5 or 6? lowboost or highboost?
What happens if you put the ignition timing too high, i.e. highboost 9 timing 9?

Cheers for the info

If you use channels 115 - 120 and dump the values into EXCEL you'll be able to see exactly what the turbo is doing and what the ECU is easking it to do. As a rule, the ECU will reduce boost pressure higher up the rev range, most chip's stop this. Get the channels (actual boost, requested boost, specified boost, wastgate angle, throttle angle, throttle actuator angle) mapped along with Torque, speed and revs and you'll know exactly what is going on.
