Nitrous - Interested to hear about setups on RS & S Audi
Update - Received an email from Wizard Of Nos and to my suprise I was told that upto a 75hp shot on the RS6 being turbo there is no need for any timing <beep> as I intend to run it progressive ie 25hp@3000 50hp@4000 75hp@5000-6300rpm.
Does this sound right to you guys? I will be doing the usual ie colder plugs etc.

plugs...
what plugs do you intend to use ..?
dont run multi point plugs either ...
if i have an old set kicking about still ill post the plug code up for you ...
but just to give you an idea .. all 6 sould cost you just over £10 you dont need platinum plugs or anything like that. you just want the biggest pure copper core you can get ..
as for your progressive controller.... what delay and build time do you normally run ...
i run a 150 shot with 0.4 sec delay and 0.8 build time ....anything more in my s4 and i dont get to see 100% before i shift....
won recon i should be running over a second delay and build time ..........
Na.....

RE: plugs...
Iridium Heat Range 8
I will be running a 75hp shot with the rpm based controller not sure if I will go with the controller that allows to adjust ramp in every gear individually

if your running big turbo's you might want to use it just to make up the lag in first only till you are making boost then progressive throughout the other gears. don't know what your set up is but that is what I would do to protect the drivetrain
RE: Re: RE: plugs...
Car is pretty much a standard RS6 with a custom tune and pre-cats removed

RE: Re: RE: plugs...
cool, not knowing the drivetrain capability of the rs6, that is just my thoughts

nos..
ditch the iridium plugs, the electrodes are tiny, you want a nice big juicy spark.. the biggest copper electrode, heat rating 9 and as long as it fits the thred in your heads thats what you want... As i said they wont cost you more than £15..
what progressive controller are you useing ...?
