Sorry guys if I rehashing an old topic, but I did have a good dif around honest! A pair of Porsche Cup 1 alloys has popped up on EBAY. What I need to know is will they fit on the RS2 with no modification? I thinking about getting a second set for winter tyres of for some track day action if I'm feeling brave.

NO they don't. only thing stopping them fitting is the centre bore. Porsche is 71.6 RS2 is 73.1
Just take them to a machine shop and get them to turn them out.

The 7" standard wheel has a 55 off set if you went higher say 60 the wheel moves inwards.
You have to take into account wheel width. If you went to 8" wide the extra 1" is added to both sides of the center line.
The 964 did come with 8" wide et52. They fit spot on after the middle has been turned out. You can then run the 245 40 17.

Right I will see if I can hunt down a set of those. I take it that extra width doesn't hit the arches (just had them rubbed down, treated and resprayed to get rid of some rot) or the inner wings.

Thanks for the help
