RS2 Sunroof options?

I was just wondering, was the sunroof an extra option for the RS2?
I thought they all came out with sunroofs and was amazed to see one for sale without a sunroof?
Any light on the subject would be great.

Ive seen loads without sunroofs think you had to spec it.

yes and if you see one with glass sunroof then it is aftermarket fitted!!

Pretty sure all RHD came with. Lots of LHD without (and roof rails or side indicators)

I think AAH's rs2 has no sunroof if I am not mistaken.

The one for sale is RHD with no sunroof, in N.Zealand. Thanks for info. I really thought they all had sunroofs. All in S.Africa have sunroofs, so was bit confused. Thought it could of been a donor body?????

My UK RHD does not have a sun roof, it had to be specially ordered that way. The first owner was tall and wanted the extra headroom.

Which is strange given you get more headroom with one (especially when its open
)

All uk ones came as standard with a sunroof - in order not to have one you had to specially order the car. Mine was specially ordered for me without a sunroof as there is quite a difference in headroom without one installed.

More or less ? Sorry to be 'dim' but the way my roof looks with a sunroof (i.e recessed upwards) it would have less headroom without.
The sunroof option on my ABY S2 coupe gave you more headroom !

Yes looking at mine today the sunroof surround does reduce headroom
