windscreen leak?

It doesn't help when car magazines get there facts wrong re tyre sizes etc does it. But anyway, I think there is a small leak coming in between the windscreen and A pillar. Inside car at the top of the A pill is wet sometimes. There's a small crack in the screen so I might get it replaced. I thought about putting some bathroom type sealant as an alternative!

Would STRONGLY recommend that you get this sorted properly (new windscreen or seal if necessary). I have some horror pics taken from behind the dash cowl of a CQ that had a similar leak .... it may also get into the door hinge mounts etc! Don't do the sealant as you will not ncessarily know when that starts to fail and water sneakily starts to seep back in.

Also make sure you get an older installer if possible since there is a bit of a nack to getting the screens into the old coupes, and it is prob the same case for the RS2

thanks for the advice. Of course I wouldn't use bathroom sealant, its coming up for a service shortly so can get it done properly then. Just for record, it is not a permanent leak, the car is kept outdoors but a gentle prod of the top of the screen can help it sometimes.
