MK Meet - Weds 2nd May, 7:30pm at the Caldecotte Arms, Milton Keynes.

April saw a return to monthly now spring is here, had a good turn out despite fuel issues and gloomy weather. Usual suspects please post your interest, potential MK meet newbies please post below so we can look out and welcome you! Warm welcome to Steve and Rob in a V8 RS4 last time. Any enthusiast welcome, hosted by Tyresmoke, cross posted on RS246 and Audi SRS. As mentioned previously, the food is very much part of this meet, I'd expect to wander inside about 8:30 ish with the better weather and lighter evenings, its great to get everyone around a table together when we are done gawping at cars.

For any newcomers (or forgetful old timers) the Caldecotte Arms pub is by the junction of the A5 and the A4146 right next to the oddly shaped - and now smoothly resurfaced - roundabout under the A5 (great for testing your Milltek). Look for the Windmill! Coming off the dual carriageway, drive down as far as the pub and then turn left towards the outside 'arc' of the car park - the top tier so to speak. New map below after it was pointed out on RS246 how ancient the old map was!

WILL defo trial an earlier arrival in the hotter summer months. I'm going to struggle to get there before 6:30pm though myself by the time I've got home from work and got the S4 out. Last June immediately before Le Mans I recall I went over early as a mate was doing something on the car (although I didn't know this until the day itself). You around June 6th or will you be off to Europe in the camper by then?

Hi. newbie's with R8 looking forward to seeing everyone, and listening to all those V8s.If anyone is going from the bedford area, would be happy to tag along or meet up in service station along bypass, and go as a gaggle [or whatever the collective noun is?].

I should be able to come as long as I am not needed at work serving the locals. This will also be my first meet. Coming from Rutland if anyone wants to meet before?

Yep from bramley. What time does it start roughly. Better clean the car ( not using the hosepipe ), if it stops raining.

7:30pm onwards, I'll be there for 7:30pm!

With some new recruits coming a few miles, if you arrive early its a big car park, aim for the top of the two tiers and park on the outside of the arc. Might be a few VAGs around, sometimes some Seat and Edition 30 members. There willl be some Mazda MX5s - they are not with us though!

I'm a newbie with an RS4 B7 and up for meeting up. I'd love to hear the Milltek in person instead of YouTube clips! Cheers, Gav

Gav, yeah, there are a few Millteks around! Paul who has been the last two meets has a non res non valved RS4. You'd think they'd sound similar, but I must say mine sounds completely different from an RS4 with the same non res Milltek with no valves.
