MK Meet - Weds 4th April, 7:30pm at the Caldecotte Arms, Milton Keynes.

MK returns to monthly throughout BST with the clocks going back tonight and daylight for our arrival. Usual suspects please post your interest, potential MK meet newbies please post below so we can look out and welcome you! Any enthusiast welcome, hosted by Tyresmoke, cross posted on RS246 and Audi SRS. Warm welcome to V8 RS4 owners Paul and David at the staggeringly cold Feb meet! As mentioned previously, the food is very much part of this meet, I'd expect to wander inside about 8:30 ish with the better weather and lighter evenings, its great to get everyone around a table together when we are done gawping at cars.

For any newcomers (or forgetful old timers) the Caldecotte Arms pub is by the junction of the A5 and the A4146 right next to the oddly shaped - and now smoothly resurfaced - roundabout under the A5 (great for testing your Milltek). Look for the Windmill! Coming off the dual carriageway, drive down as far as the pub and then turn left towards the outside 'arc' of the car park - the top tier so to speak. New map below after it was pointed out on RS246 how ancient the old map was!

On a personal notes, since opening this up to RS246 and SRS, its not really been suitable to bring the 205. However this month I'm going to bring both! Will also discuss with those present this month, I would like to trial kicking the meet off earlier in the hotter months, DK has said he would be interested in sticking around if we could start earlier.

*Newbie alert* but I'll be there for my first meet!
My mate is also interested who has an S4 Avant but is a real petrolhead. Is he welcome?

DK - cannot imagine we'd wander inside to eat before 8:30pm. We are usually there until 10:30, sometimes 11pm. Remind me to swap numbers at Ace Cafe so you can find us if we have gone indoors etc

Fantastic brunch in Towcester yesterday with some fellow S4 and RS4 owners, really looking forward to this now, hoping for a nice sunset like above (April 2007). A8 in foreground should be there, supercharged in 2011, on about its fourth charger belt after eating the last one with me in the passenger seat! Still planning to bring both cars now any fuel concerns have evaporated.

Excellent turn out considering the miserable weather. Two thirds of the cars were 4.2 V8s! Reminds me of a few years ago when we had a number of D2 A8 S8 attendees.

Pauls RS4 sounds naughty with non-res non-valved Millteks. Surprisingly stark difference in the sound compared with mine. Matts supercharged A8 is just bonkers! Warm welcome to Steve and Rob in the Sprint RS4.
