This is the main fear I have when out on the track; someone with more bravery than talent taking me out. Glad there were no other cars involved on this occasion, and sorry that a nice RS4 bit the dust.

They always wipe themselves out in front of the crowd, happens all the time more arrogance than talent. Don't think a pint in the pub is going to sort that one out..

Have you ever driven on the track?

ESP causes the brakes to overheat within 2-3 laps therefore you need to switch the ESP off, or you'll be in the tyre wall anyway with brake fade!

Regardless, I'm not sure even ESP would've helped him on that corner, the camber drops away sharply if you stray too far to the outside of the track and spits you out onto the grass = game over!

The circuit owner put a chicane into the straight before that corner to slow the cars down, camp and quarry corners do have reputations and they deserve respect. That tyre wall may look soft but at 70mph+.....

seems that detailingworld thread has vanished and a new moral arguement thread has started instead lol. I was sat in my S2 waiting to go out in the next session when i saw it happen in my rearview mirror..Didnt half make a thud against the wall!!!

evo smashed up is mr simon norris of norris designs ,overates himself bigtime,not a fan as had engine issues with him , he races at combe in saloon championship was also a fellow timeattacker , say no more.
