Due to mounting costs and insufficient funds to make this event financially viable, it has had to be cancelled.

Last but not least, a big thank you to the team who tried to make this possible - In particular Andy, David, Mark, and those that commited their finances.

Terrible news, I thought we'd scraped through. As Julian says, major thanks and condolences to Andy, Dave and Mark for their efforts in trying to make this event happen, it would have been a truly great day.

Very sad, but I had a feeling that was going to happen. Well done to all involved in the organising and I hope something can be got off the ground in the future. It was an excellent idea and it would be a shame if all the planning went to waste.

Absolutely gutted that this isn't going ahead. It's a real shame that we couldn't get the required numbers together. Thanks again to Mark, David & Andy for all their efforts.

Don't know if anyone else agrees, but i'd be happy to lose £10 on my refund and let the guys get themselves a meal and a few pints for all their hard work.

I had made a space on the mantlepiece for my show and shine trophy as well
