So ......

Who fancies coming to the Isle of Man for a Hill Climb??

I entered last year, and it was the first competitive event I had entered. What can I say? I loved every second of it!

I would put it down to 70% socialising and 30% driving, really, I would not have understood it, but standing around talking sh1t was more than half te fun!!!

So, the setup, is 3 hills ... one thu night, one fri and one sat (17th, 18th and 19th of April 2008 )

First hill, is Bray Hill, which is amazing, in that its through capital of Douglas at 140 MPH+ in 30 MPH normal limit! .... Tough with the little right kink at the end ....

Second hill, The Sloc ... - this was tricky for me, and I slipped a few places here. I put it down to two things, one hard suspension and two, the top corner, I should go flat out through the first kink and maybe the second, but never managed to,

The third! and, well, its on the TT course (and the right way!) This is Ramsey up the hill .... from the outside

This is a very welcoming island, lots to do for both sides of the family!

Penalty of notice for everyone here! Put your names down!

What you need ...
FIA Suit and Helmet
You will also need a Min of Non Race National B Licence(Obtainable from the MSA at 01753 765000)
Prices, are £100 per hill (3 hills) or £260 for all three

Not that cheapest, but hey, if it was anything like last year, the social side was just top!

Oh, did I mention, we have a lovely thing out here, its called,

NO SPEED LIMITS!
