Mini Devon/Southwest meet:

Post by ZeroK66 » Fri Jul 21, 2006 10:14 am

Hello all,

Turns out on the 5th & 6th of August a few people may be able to meet down here in Devon. Central place currently is Newton Abbott - but I am sure we could re-consider if there was enough interest.

No real plan - just a get together to oogle over eachothers cars.

So far interest is as follows:

ZeroK66 - Exeter - S4 Stage 2+
Fletchie55 - Plymouth - Standard S4
Snowy-d - Will be in Newton abbott over the weekend. - Standard S4

Let me know if your keen.

Cheers,

I live between Plymouth and Newton Abbot so might be able to come along. I'm racing on the Sunday but Saturdays a possible. Can't commit yet as Saturdays usually the family day. Keep us all posted when you agree a date and time.

Excellent stimp - will let you know. Currently it is open as to what day we choose, I will lean towards Saturday for now (I'd prefer that anyways :) ) - like my sleep on Sunday :P

Seems like Saturday lunch/afternoon is the best time for all.

Where to? Somewhere on the moors like Two Bridges or Princetown or the coast would be more fun than than A38 corridor.

Cheers,
Mark

I'm pretty easy really, I mean somewhere with a nice view given we are blessed with the west country would be good? I am fairly new down here so others opinions would be welcome!

Hi there. Nice to meet you today ZeroK66. As I mentioned, I can't make it this weekend unfortunately due to my house moving chaos. If it becomes a regular thing I'm certainly interested in meeting up in the SW somehwere, the Midlands meet is a little too far to go. I live in Bristol, so just about the SW! Have a good one this weekend. Cheers.

I'm going to have to bow out this time as something else has come up so it's unlikely I'll be in Devon.

Hope it can become something of a semi-regular meet, then I can plan for it.

Cheers,
Mark

Late notice but just for interest. Toady we've got the offshore power boat racing in Plymouth. Normally quite good and supported by a certain company that I work for. The 42 foot variety on display is one of mine and we've got 3 or four others being used as markers and the starter boat.
Sunday is the custom car show at Mount Edgecumbe, not been before but supposed to be alright. If you guys do meet up and need somewhere to go I reckon thats a reasonable weekend down here.

Missed this one, but are there any plans for the next meet?

This one never happened in the end... we could certainly arrange something soon.

I am off to a rolling road day on the 15th of Oct... could drum up some interest for that?
