Hi to all,

I would like to know if any of you use this tyre in track days (specially some M3 CSL owners out there) and if it has good grip and can keep with the same grip and efficiency during sessions of 30 minuts or if it loses grip after 10 or 15 minutes??

How is it (this tyre) against others like the Bridgestones Re540s, the Bridgestones Re55, Yokohama A-046 or A-048 ?? in dry conditions...

Thanks in advance for all the help give..

Regards,

Great tyre...but I wouldn't use it on the RS4...they won't last (car is too heavy)

For the RS4, I'd personally go for the A048.

Dave, thanks :)

You got a CSL, right ? Do you usually track it with this pilot CUP ? Does it had good grip and can keep with the same grip and efficiency during sessions of 30 minuts or if it loses grip after 10 or 15 minutes??

In my case is for an S2000....a light car ;)

Thanks in advance.

Filipe,

Yes, currently got them fitted to the CSL....I can't really compare against the other tyres you've mentioned as I haven't tried them. I know that even on the CSL they don't last too long.

I've actually got a set of 18" BBS wheels for the CSL, and will probably put A048's on those for track use when the current cups are worn out...

Cheers,

Dave.

SimonS4MTM, thanks a lot ;)

DaveP, thanks again and if you don´t mind, i have one more question...when you track the CSL with the Pilot Cup, do they hang on during (by example) 30 minuts without losing any grip efficiency ? In your opinion the only disavantage is they don´t last too long in terms of miles in track ?

Thanks again and sorry so many questions...
