Hello everyone,

I'm starting this thread dedicated to the AudiPassion track day in Le Mans-Bugatti so you can post any question about organisation, logistics etc.

To start with, how about being HERE behind the wheel, instead of looking at it from the paddock as usual.
Millions of people watched it but how many stormed through it at full speed ?


For the logistics, I'm offering to act as the coordinator for the registered RS246.com UK-DE members (ie non-Audipassion members).
Please note that all vehicules will be accepted, so if you're an rs246 member but feel/need to drive with an M3 or Elise, VX220 or whatever loved one, no prob.

Regular track fee for non-members is 250€ (175£) but I've managed to get a special deal for rs246 members who confirm attendance before Feb 28th at 160€ (110£), no downpayment required due to expensive forex/wire transfer charges.
I'll do the downpayment for you guys (100% of the fee) -so don't play too much with my cash .

PS: no intent to oversell it but the waiting list to book Le Mans for track day is now 18 months so it is a real opportunity imho.

Cool, so where can we stay?

I woull like to keep the costs down to a minimum as I would like this to be my RS246 Stag Weekend with the boys (and Gals?).

My family and I have stayed here many times- small town about 30 mins south of Le Mans- great restaurant, cheap , nice people etc- not lively though but I'm sure you can compensate for that.

By the way www.logis-de-france is a great resource for family owned inns and auberges. If you want a big modern or formula hotel it's not for you but I can highly recommend this as an organisation. [img]images/graemlins/thumbs.gif[/img]

The lodging is still in the pipeline, I'll post asap an update. It should be close to track, full service hotel with parking lot under surveillance.

Just to give an indication for the lodging, I count 4 confirmed participants today for rs246.

Does anyone want some company on the trip?
I won't be able to go to the expense of running my car this time, but I don't want to miss it and can split some costs with someone else going on the trip.
