Hello everybody, Happy New Year and all that. :bigwave:

After looking at a video in another thread and reading this excellent article http://www.topgear.com/car-news/british ... oads-wales, I realised that I should definitely head over to Wales for a couple of days and sample the amazing roads they have to offer! Probably a Saturday-Sunday job with a night in a B&B somewhere.

Then I thought, "Why not make it an RS246 Road Trip!" :rocker:

Initially I am just seeing who would be interested in this. It would be much later on in the year, when the weather and daylight hours are more favourable. So, whether you are interested or not, please make yourself heard and comment with any tips/suggestions, also add a vote in the poll above.

Comedy replies also welcome.

Cheers :beerchug:

UPDATE
Date has been decided. 8-9th July

Serious question on page 9 - Evo or no Evo?

I'd be well up for it. I don't know the roads though so can't offer advice on where to go.

I'd be keen to know more. As a photographer and drone pilot maybe I could provide some images from the trip

Hello All, very interested, if I'm available when dates are confirmed. I'm from Kent, so would be happy to meet and greet the local RS246 members, if they get together maybe before the potential big day? :bigwave:

Hi Phil, fellow Kent-er here. Keep a look out in the Trackdays and Meets forum for a Boxhill meet. Here is the last one - viewtopic.php?f=10&t=122206. We will be doing another in the next couple of months I reckon, around March/April time.

Yep - "Probably a Saturday-Sunday job with a night in a B&B somewhere." It's a hell of a long way to go for a day. I'm looking at some routes now. Some of the roads look awesome!

ALSO - Would anyone be up for taking in Pendine Sands too? It's the beach that the Top Gear guys used quite often. It's opened up to cars again now. Just a thought.
