Audi RS Event at Croft

Here's a few pictures from yesterday's event at Croft Circuit.
Here's a rundown on the event and my feedback on the cars
we drove incase anyone is thinking of buying a new car.
Ended up getting paired up with RSphantom and bumped into Alistair
Got some great shots of our 3 cars at the end of the day.
Ascari Blue RS6 Performance was epic in flesh and only had 300 miles on it.
We drove R8 V10 plus on track.
Epic power and chassis and ceramics were amazing
Driving position even with buckets is 100mm too high and everyone in
our group said the same. How can they get that so wrong. Nevertheless
very impressive machine.
Next was handling course in RS3's
Cracking sound loads of mid range punch but loads of understeer
& again driving position too high but lots of lag too which surprised us.
Emergency slalom brake test in RS6's
Amazing testing these to the extreme, proper weapon and ceramic brakes were
unreal. If you're ordering a car I would suggest these. I didn't spec these on my RS4
and still my biggest regret.
Finally back on track in RSQ3 and RS7's
Slalom course at speed, RSQ3's felt quicker than the RS3, handling was a bit
loose but guess that's down to the height of these and softer suspension
set up. RS7's were super quick but felt heavier to chuck around but still gripped
like crazy and you could load up the chassis and it still turned well.
Next dream car for me would've been an R8 but couldn't spend that money with a high
driving position as I'm only 6ft.
C7 RS6 or 1st gen R8 V10 Plus but must have ceramics brakes next time.
