Audis in the Park 2015

Are we seriously not going to be represented this year? As the best RS forum and given that they are celebrating 20 years or RSs we should be there in force.
As far as I know we haven't even requested a space for any cars yet!

They will be having a display of every single RS made. It looks like they are still looking for B7 avant and cab and a C6 saloon (this is hard to believe so maybe they just haven't updated their website). Any volunteers wanted to display their car should get in touch with the organisers.
In the mean time, is someone going to organise this or will we all end up on the SRS stand? As I said before, I can't commit to definitely being there yet due to other commitments but it would be a shame to not see a RS246 presence there.

its a great show im supprised rs246 doesnt have spaces.
as of tonight im pulling out unfortunatly, my drc gave up but went out tonight to see if it was driveable but it feels very light and wollowy so coilovers ordered but will take a few weeks as they are custom and to top that off an old woman didnt give way to me tonight on my right of way and i had to swerve and kerb a wheel, (mine were immaculate) so now i need 500 quids worth of alloy
so with the car in this state id rather not show it
gutted is not the word that show was great

Gutted for you rick, was looking forward to seeing your car again!
I know how you feel about the wheels, I'd kept mine mint for 2years then had 2 scrapes so quickly booked them in for TLC.
Dave, looking forward to seeing your new beast!

I guess we need to ask the organisers for a plot once we have a rough idea of numbers.

Sorry to hear that Rick

I'm sort of in the same boat now too.
Had a highly emotional phone call from the wife yesterday after she had caught the front bumper on a curb (yes I do let her drive the car, not by choice though!!!) managed to crack it quite badly along the bottom and a nice area of paint had been scraped off!!!.
So been phoning around today to try and get this sorted and i am hoping it will be repaired and re sprayed prior to AITP or I will be in the same "rather not show" state!!!
To be fair it's just accelerated the pace in which I have had to get the bumper sprayed as it was looking some what pebble dashed anyway!!
Just to add the icing on cake, found a 10p sized gouge out of the side of my 1000 mile old Eagle F1's so that's a new tyre ordered too

Both Richie and Rick should still come along; the cars are worth seeing even if not in their best ever condition. I know mine needs a few bits doing beforehand but will unlikely be done in time.

Fingers crossed all will be fine Mike. Spoke to a guy this afternoon that think he can fit it in for the respray next week or the week after
Tbh. My car is pretty much standard so I'm not really going to show my car off as much as I would like to see the likes of yours Mike, Ricks and the other guys that have treasured their RS's and treated them to some tasteful modifications
