VMAX Quattro

All - I am pleased to announce that VMAX
http://www.vmax200.com have agreed to hold a dedicated RS246 forum day during April 2014.
For those of you who don't know, Vmax200 is "a private coming together of like minded people and extreme machinery with one goal: to achieve their maximum ground speed on a 2 mile, straight runway" and is held in Leicestershire.
For those of you interested in this event, please email

Awesome!
Although I'm not bothered about running my car it'd be great to get a PAX ride with someone. I'm sure I've seen videos of Amar edging 199mph on the speedo at vmax. Happy to go halves with anyone.

204, see avatar. Was 198 GPS, still had another (6th gear) to go as did that in 5th.

Mine got 194 (184 gps) and still in 5th. And that was before the last remap??? Happy to take passengers. Registering now.

Yes, I enjoyed it, but good value it wasn't as there was no speed read out, a burger van that ran out by mid morning and not really anything else
I take it we can't just book bruntingthorpe ourselves for a morning and do it between us ?

I've had a message to say to those of you who have registered an interest to give it a couple of weeks before you hear anything back from the team @ VMAX
Appreciate this kind of event is not everyone's cup of tea - but I don't know of any track where you can properly reach VMAX in your chosen weapon! I'll feed back any comments RE the facilities ETC
I absolutely had a cracking day out last time and it's a chance for everyone to get together again and have a bit of banter, chat about our cars/mods ETC and take PAX rides for those offering/brave enough
