Mini convoy to Milbrook - 3rd November - M4 M25 M1

I know three of us are already interested.
Plan is for me to leave from Bristol and meet Graeme near Swindon (I assume) and Sevvy at Newbury services (I assume) then head round the glorious M25, maybe pick others up en route to Milbrook.
If we go past any convenient stop offs then we can pick up the Cockneys as well perhaps.
Once further details of the day are released we can make plans for times.
Input welcome.

Not sure if I've got a place yet, but if so, I'm in.
We could have a rendesvous point at South Mimms J.24 then head up the A1 and have the benefit of the Hatfield Tunnel??

I'd just like to add there are vicious speed bumps to the south of the Proving Ground on Sandhill Close which runs due north/south 1000 yards between the centre of Millbrook village and the A507. I guess this is to try and persuade all Millbrook Proving Ground to approach from the north - Bedford Bypass side (Marston Mortaine on the map)
They are full width speedbumps, not 'exhaust catchers', so you cannot chicane round them / straddle two at one. The road is also quite hilly to the south half and narrow in places. Having driven through Millbrook twice in the last few months (and lived in Bedford all my 31 years) I would advise
NOT going down there in an R8 or a lowered quattro with Milltek hanging underneath. They are continuous for the whole 1000 yard stretch end to end

So new route is M4, M25, meet at South Mimms, then blast through the Hatfield tunnel and onwards to Milbrook via the A1.
I'll think of some meeting times . . .

Sounds like a plan Nickyboy - cheers for getting the ball rolling. Like the idea of the Hatfield Tunnel too - never been through that so will be good to hear the V8's and V10's drowning out my 5-pot!
I could either meet up with you & Graeme at Chieveley Services (Junc 13 of the M4) or at Reading Services (between Junc 12 and Junc 11). For Chievelely you have to actually come off the M4, so it might be more straightforward to stop at Reading Services. Doesn't bother me either way - whichever's easier for you guys...
