Lake District, Meet & Drive – 31st March 2013

Hi guys,

Just wondered who would be interested?

I am intending of organising a meet on Sunday 31st March in Penrith (Rheged), and then plan a driving route into the Lake District i.e. a route from Penrith that would include great driving roads with spectacular scenery such as Kirkstone Pass – to Windermere.

Or alternatively we could do the Penrith, Brampton/ Alston Route.

I suggest a mid morning meet, go for a drive and then finish up with a lunch for those that want it! It would also be a great opportunity to get some photos!

Anyway for those interested please post your name and which Route you would prefer? Once I have a few people we will decide on an exact route, equally open to suggestions! I have also put this out on SRS! Angus

Angus I could do this but on a different date. 23rd/24th, or in April...

Andrew, sadly don't think it will be possible as already got 4/5 cars through SRS, looks like its going to be a lakes run! Any chance you can change your shift?

Although I would be game for another meet in April at some point!
