All - I want to pop my German cherry [so to speak] this summer and I'm planning a round trip to Germany taking in a day at the Nürburgring, a day driving the black forest, then a day down to Ingolstadt for the Audi Factory/Museum tour - then a day back to the UK

This thread is just to put the feelers out and as my missus has has zero interest in cars I'll probably be going on my own [or perhaps with my 9yr old lad]. Does anyone fancy joining me July/August time. Maybe over a 4 day weekend?

OK - This is a good start! So I am thinking of something like this....

Day one: Meet @ Dover, train to Calais then drive to Nürburgring [around 500KM from Calais] , over night stay local.
Day two: Whole Day @ Nürburgring, over night stay local
Day three: Drive to Black Forest [around 2.5 hrs from Nürburgring] afternoon driving in Black Forest - end up/stop overnight at Tübingen
Day four: Drive to Audi Factory / Museum [around 2.5 hrs from Tübingen], stop over night local
Day five: Drive home at your own pace

I am flexible on dates and I'll need to check factory/museum/ring opening times /schedules ETC
As a starter how about Tue Aug 27th Aug Return Sat 31st Aug? [The week following on from Aug Bank Hol Monday]?

I don't mind taking a week off but am equally at home doing the trip over a long weekend or in reverse ETC ETC

Take take in the Black Forest - The route is not 100% fixed yet - I'll take a look
