Using a suction mount I've put mine on the front license plate for front low down, front L or R wing just in-front or behind the wheel facing either front or rear (behind looking front looks V.good on a twisty road), on the drivers window facing front and slight inward so w=you can see the driver steering, on the roof facing front (bit bland), on the boot window facing down for those of us who can spit flames and finally on the L/R rear quarter next to the exhaust facing rear.

I've done that on almost all my "fast" cars upto 140mph without issue but I'd only go faster with a suction mount if it was mounted on glass.

I don't think we are planing to be hitting quite those speeds lol :) but who knows...

I'd imagine those looks are more those of fear, followed by a mad dash to gather up all the fine china around the house... in case you decide to fire it up with the valves open! ;)

Bit gutted I didn't notice this thread until the morning of the event itself - bit too late for me to attend and haven't been able to make it along for several months now :(
