I've filled out the forms tonight for 246 and sent them off to ADI, so they'll send the paddock passes out to me. If you guys that are coming can drop me a DM with your postal addresses, then I'll get them sent out as soon as I have them. Or if you're coming past Swindon on the day on the M4, then we can have a pre combe meet at Junction 16 Costa and I can dish out accordingly before a convoy in for the last 20miles
I've done some grovelling with ADI to get a decent spot as well as our line up of cars last year was by far the best of any of the clubs (Even the A2 owners club had a better stand that us with their sh1tty little fall over boxes in 2013') - I've started high with asking for the strip of grass along the edge of the track in the paddock, and I'll work my way down the slots until we're parked in the toilets at the back of the course

What's the deal with track sessions? Are they booked separately (and if so, what're people booking - morning/afternoon/all day/single)?

What's the deal with track sessions? Are they booked separately (and if so, what're people booking - morning/afternoon/all day/single)?

You can book full day sessions through ADI directly at http://www.audidriverinternational.co.uk
Alternatively, last year we had a joint session with audiSRS.com, which I think is 15 mins and around £40ea
If anyone's interested in that, I can get hold of Graham at SRS and see what they're saying

Best hotel semi locally is the Hilton in Swindon at J16, which is around 15-20mins drive, but it's a secure car park and they host the Audi presentation thing ,that I think we're banned from, on the Saturday night
It'll be full of Audi types on the Friday night too as all the clubs tend to stay there before the event

It's about 800m from my house too, so if there's a Friday night beer going on, I'll wander over

I'm booked on the SRS session. They have 3 slots left. As suggested take a look over there on the thread - you can book direct on the SRS Shop and it's £40 including the £10 entry fee (so £30 for track session).

Thankfully Bam and I have not attended the Gala Event together... It wouldn't be a good mix, especially with alcohol...

It'd be so easy to believe it was me that incited the RS246 ban but it was a combined effort, in fact, I wasn't even trying, I was trying to eradicating my headache with alcohol.
That said, I'm the ar*ehole that RS246 deserves, but not the one that RS246 needs right now. So you can hunt me. Because I can take it. Because bam_bam's not RS246's hero. He's a loud bully. An annoying sore. A Dark Troll.

The Gala Event is painfully dull and waaaay too serious. I wouldn't do it again, unless RS246 bags an award and PhilT wants me to collect the award and give an acceptance speech.
