John

The problem is that if you want tuition on a new track you don't wont it at the end of the day but rather the begining (ideally the first session) to be able to make the most of the day. This is not a 'having a go' just the reason for me not signing up....

I'll just follow whoever has the instructor in first to figure out where the track goes

BTW Jeff thats cheating and of course its a case of which session the instructor is in at any particular time
But to be safe please sign up for some tuition its not only about lines.

Typically on a new track I like to go out with the instructor driving on a 2-3 familiarisation laps ie where the circuit goes. Then I'm normally happy to build up speed driving my own car. Without this or 'pace car' type situation it just takes slightly longer to get up to speed.

I went out with an instructor at Brands the other day ( a circuit I've done 30-40 times) just to refine my lines and the guy started grabbing the steering wheel from the passenger seat......scared the crap out of me when he first did

I don't object to paying the money .....honest

Seems most of this thread unfolded when I was in feckin' China.

If there are spaces or you need someone to make up the numbers count me in.

Give me the nod and I'll bung JR the necessary.

Right, I can go back to sleep now.
