Yes you will need a helmet for track action. Car will also have to pass a noise test - iirc its 99db. Mind you Bam seemed to be quiet enough with the 'loon

They had helmets available to hire last year, was about 10 quid I think.

Unfortunately I won't be able to make it this year - was a fun day last time!

They're pretty strict on noise there, and the DB level is static tested at 4k before you get a track pass
I'll dig out the DB ratings, but I've seen standard exhaust R8's fail it previously

I have absolutely no holiday left, unfortunately I will have to take pot luck I'm not requested to man the office that weekend. I get to know five / six weeks in advance of the date, fingers crossed

I'll suggest a drive it for those coming along M4 from the East, so meet up at Costa at Junction 16 (next to hilton) at 08:30, and I can distribute other passes then too

Happy to collect at Costa as long as I'm not held up on A34 etc. Last year I never planned to meet at Costa but had an excellent drive down in my then-new [to me] snotter and arrived ahead of time. Got to Costa junction just as it absolutely monsooned, so I just cruised into Combe instead of stopping

I'm pretty sure one will still be able to get through the gate without the piece of paper if you just quote 'RS246' on the gate, they always seem fairly organised with clip boards, club displays lists and trade stand layouts etc etc. So not a disaster it anyone loses theirs etc
