The full result is
1. Team Schnell (viperbl & dace)
2. Team Crash
3. Team Weave (jeffw)
4. Scuderia MRC (Doug, oliew & ?)
5. Team Blue Steel
6. Hamster Audi (Cubby, Adie et al)
7. Scuderia SM (Philt)
8. Team Le Tigre
9. Team Weave Too (Paul, David & Jon)
10. TR7 Boys (David T & Friends)
Everyone seemed to enjoy the event....maybe someone else can arrange the next one when we go back to the Ring 
It was great fun Jeff & many thanks for organising it.

Only gripe from us was the odd pitlane shuffle after a certain driver decided to trash the barriers on the main straight  We came in & were at the front of the pit cars & were running 3rd (although dropping places at a fair rate during my stint followed by Phil driving  ), but the front 3 or 4 cars were for some reason sent out of the pits, did another lap & returned to the back of the pit, only to lose 2 places at the same time. This of course made no difference to the top teams, who were Kart Meisters.

Sadly that was outside my control...Craig was the one who was pushed into the barrier. I'm sure that if that hadn't happened Phil's amazing karting skill would have pulled you up into at least 7th place :)

Hey all,
While squeezing in some very very wet laps on Monday evening, my alternator died. I noticed a lack of boost and battery warning light just after karussell, followed by a series of other warnings. This must have been when the battery gave up. So with an instrument cluster like a Christmas tree, I got past one more scooby and limped to the car park. After realising there was nothing I could do, I drove back to the hotel with the fuel pump cutting out every minute or so, and ended up coasting for the last couple of hundred metres. We spent most of Tuesday in the local Audi dealership, where my pockets were lightened considerably, and caught the ferry back home 8 hours later than originally planned. I have just arrived home now, just before 6AM Wednesday.

...and I'd do it all again. Fantastic weekend! I'll have to get back there sometime (hopefully sooner rather than later).

Has anyone heard from "Fireman Andy"?

The Porsche Driving Ring Miester Lapdancing Fire Starter!

What a thoroughly decent bloke, had a whale of a time with him and Steph and the others in Koln.
Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

I must admit I had a lot more fun than first anticipated (not having my car) but the A4 2ltr Turbo was more than a match for most cars - even managed a sub 9 mins in it (with video footage) - but that was on the ragged edge.

Still in pain from the karting but again injoyed it greatly.

Trying to get back before the close of season with my car - so if anyone fancies a quick trip give me a call.

I would have to agree with that - didn't quite understand whay we lost a lap and was put at the back of the grid - but I wasn't there to win just to have some fun, which I feel as a Team we all did.

Wow, great photos! I especially like my 'how long have I been filming with that muck on my lens' shot.
