Had another great day driving. Headed up to Ullapool. Some seriously quick sections, easily reach Autobahn speeds!

Got to the Applecross Pass, then had a slight mishap

Got a puncture !

All sorted in the end, recovered back to hotel and new tyre will be sourced a fit tomorrow !

Is that an XF?

The A82 is a great road towards the Kyle of Lochalsh

Ah, an XE, do tell more! I am seriously looking at buying one, with some minor objections from SWMBO.
I'm thinking of the Portfolio petrol (240bhp) which will sit nicely alongside the S8 as the daily runabout. :bigblink:

In terms of ride and handling, its absolutely superb, huge fun on these roads, amazing road manners, grip, feedback, chassis adjustment and steering .... Truely is the class leader for dynamics

Just a 2.0 diesel 180PS R-Sport

It's a fine car, just too slow, the chassis and set up deserves 240PS as a minimum

So I drove the A939 and A93 today

Amazing weather, double figures and dry roads

The drive was epic !!

Really cannot describe how unlike anywhere else in the UK it is to drive these roads!

Great section past Glensee on the A93 where it's really tight and twisty and I was seriously giving the car a full work out on brakes, tyres, shocks. Steering etc .... Best bit was it was all within the NSL due to the nature of the road

Anyone considering this meet having not driven these roads before, but dubious about the distance, I can guarantee it's worth it! Weather pending !
