Did you say sorry to the s3 driver who was behind you Trups? My bum hole twitched as I watched you go off so I would hate to think what he was like!

Was great to meet people yesterday, had a cracking day.

Thanks for the heads up guys, so going on what you guys are saying i think it may of split before hand.

i drove it off the grass and no lights where on, its when i was driving along the track slowly the coolent light came on. When i stopped in a layby type thing thats when i saw the coolent on the floor as it was freshly topped up this week when it was empty.

i cleaned the mud off the body and the alloys at the show, just need to get the jetwash out and do underneath and the archs today.

Was good fun and like its been said, glad it went into the middle and not the left.

You had a lot of smoke coming from under the car before you span and while it was on the grass. Suprised its just coolant! Think I would have just parked up on the grass if honest

I will post up a properly fluffy guff post about the weekend either later or tomorrow morning. Have seen a modded Noggy Blue S3 for sale that has caught my eye when we got back and am trying to arrange to go and see it today.

Dunc, if there are any things in particular that you think I should look out for please let me know. As it shares the same platform as our Cupra R, I have a pretty good idea I reckon but any info would be great. Only bullet points needed if anything, as you should chill for the rest of today after your trip back.

I was really lucky not to have any major faults with my s3. Mafs play up on them, jerky power. Concert radio volume control always fail! (Single din radio)
Haldex can play up aswell which sounds like it is grinding at the rear (I think)
Is it the facelift model? (Digital clock on dash, indicators built into headlight unit)
Face lift is 225 bhp, older model is 210bhp.

Short one from me guys as have a family event on. It was great meeting you all and in particular Dunc, Faye, Nick, Jules, Luke and Cynthia. If RS246 aren't banned next year, I'll most likely be back, C5 owners defiantly have the best laugh. I'm glad I stayed over in the end (heard Bam's car start from my hotel room). Hopefully Shop and others can make the next one too. I didn't get many decent photos, it started raining every time I tried. Here's a few. Xxx

Cheers Amar, those shots make me really happy with how mine is coming along. Nice shot of the front brakes. When you get a chance, could you drop those specific photos to my work email? Thanks.
