Chaps,

The accepted form for crashes is that no reference is made to them on forums until the vehicle owner has posted. It gives those involved a clear run at the resolution.

I hope we can respect that in our little corner of the internet.

talking of "Cherry" it has reminded me of a the reality that I am going soon..

So back to a serious question or two....

So is this a track day with a safety briefing? Is there a voluntary one to attend?

Will I need a helmet or can I hire one?

Sorry for the naive questions...

Yes, lets get off the on tour stuff, because we know nothing interesting ever happens on tour, thats why we have the rule :nodder:

Not a trackday, its a one way toll road with a speed limit only at the second entrance. Prize for the person who spells the name of this entrance correctly first :)

No safety briefing, the track is not marshalled.

Helmets not mandatory but highly recommended. I was annoyed with myself for taking a passenger lap without a helmet in April.

Best to have a passenger lap or two first, then get someone you trust to passenger with you on your first lap or two.

Some laps are fast and clear, some are slower and busy, sometimes people's driving can scare you. You need to leave room and be defensive.

If you see people trying too hard and putting themselves and others at risk, you need to tell them in the car park or tell the office. This helps to save lives, the place can be that dangerous.

What!! You told me I drive very well and you had enjoyed the passenger drive. even though it took us 15minutes.
Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
