Bit ashamed of how dirty my black avant was when lined up compared to the others that were immaculate, but it's my daily car, so had a late night run up to bristol and back in the crap weather last night to ferry kids around :(
Some nice cars there today, and on the whole the weather stayed decent too
Looked tip top to me... but I love a dirty car.
No matter where you go, there you are.

Was a great day out, even though it was cold and wet.

Good to meet new and old faces as always.

Thanks Ian.C for the pax ride in the S4 for the parade laps.

Did not think it was busy as last year this was maybe down to the weather. Was great to have a RS246 stand, maybe next year we will have more of a presence at other events, well done Phil.

Was good to see the new B8 RS 4 in the flesh, the multi spoke alloys did look good, esp with the slightly deep dish (dont really see it in the pics).

The best Audi of the day was def the "Ugly Duckling" from the A5 commercial ;)

£10.25  (had to have a choc fix as well)

Good to see/meet those that made it along.

Back home from the cold outside, to the cold inside (as boiler's packed up!) :bash:

Was going to ask who was the unfortunate person, but guess it was you, Trups!

Good question. Load of smoke, then a spin off...

Yep that was me :bash:

Nothing major, Coolent leaked out all over the place.

this week it went empty so had to fill it, and today it completly shot out once i went off road so i think one of the pipes are burst under.

i lost the car as i twiched the slight right bend and let go of the peddle and it took the car, silly mistake and only after i realised that i was doing the track in comfort DRC setting so was rolling all over the place.

Im glad the cars not damaged anyway.

Il clean all the mud off ready for Monday morning when the RAC will come back to drop it to Audi, should be covered under warranty.

Enjoyed that, was most certainly faster paced than previous years!! I think more people had ebbed away by that time as the parade didn't seem as busy as it has been previous?

Glad the C6 is alright Trups. Id take it down the local jet wash and blast underneath and the arch liners before you wash it properly at home, its going to be blindingly obvious you've gone rallying the moment Audi look underneath on a ramp!

Trups - it had started to smoke (or steam) just before you spun, so I wouldn't be surprised if it also helped you spin.

I'd second what Ian said, coolant isn't good for paintwork so wash it off asap.

It went as you went past the pits, we heard it while waiting to go out, then saw the smoke, THEN you span off.
Glad all ok!

Vapour/steam was coming out from the car for the majority of the straight before the car lost control if memory serves. I have to be honest and say that I was shocked that you took the gamble to slip it back on to the track with it still belching out.

I just hope that you got away with it fella come engine examination time!
