You could always rag the supercharger RR round for a bit - LOL
I am a bit concerned about brake fluid and oil - worth changing before we go? Any other bits of advice?

The RR would be capable but cant be arsed destroying and replacing a set of discs and pads when funds could be spent else where.

Hmmmmm advise...

Give the car a full check a few days before you go so you can get any problems discovered time to be repaired. Oil and filter change would be ok, but depending on when last serviced (getting it done when you return would be beneficial).

Brake fluid change would help, I would take spare brake fluid with you as well as a set of spare pads (discs also if you can afford) to).

Spare oil is a must as well as some washer fluid (saves buying it over there).

A good sponge scrubber for removing bugs and crud from windscreen.

What mileage are your pads on?

Check tyre pressures.

You can do most of the checks when your there, most of us will have tools to assist in any last minute repairs.

Brake fluid June 2013
Brand new discs and pads all round around 4000 miles ago
Will check tyres/oil at weekend but I checked last weekend and all was good. 40 front? 36 rear?

Will bring oil, fluid, spare wheel/tyre [pauls], jack, and wheel wrench bar + socket [in case of puncture on the way] plus bug cleaning kit ETC and obviously my lid

Will I really need new pads? I am not expecting to thrash the bollox out of it both days - just to try and be as smooth as possible.

The car will be in for a fluid service when I return.

Really looking forward to this! See ya Sunday perhaps mate?

Kev.

PS mandatory French bulb/vis kit as well!

Hi Kev

You will be surprised how much wear your pads will get, I have just fitted a new set yesterday but will still be bringing a spare set in case of emergency.

Should be a good couple of days, I always look forward to seeing the array of cars take to these things (inc 12 yo diesel shalabangs) :-)

Sonny, you got the Clio all sorted now? ;-)

Is anyone still planning on heading to the ring on the Tuesday for TF evening session. I am thinking about it if the weather looks ok...........

See you all next week sometime
