Probably a stupid question.

What do people do at these events?

I have been to Combe and we spent most of the day watching cars go round the track. It looks like this event doesn't have a track hence my question.
2014: 8V S3, Scirocco (mistake)
2013: B8 RS 5, 3.0T S5 coupe, B8 S5 cab - temp, B8 S4 avant
2011: 2.0T FL Octavia VRS
2010: 1.8T Octavia VRS

we are a bunch of geeks who talk <beep> about cars all day and have a mooch around each others cars.

AITP has a good location, there is a small theme park for kids, overall I thought it had a good family atmosphere.

Hmmm if the jetstream predictions pan-out for the 12th, it could be ok weatherwise.
(maybe bright, but cooler).

I'm afraid it's apostourettes - an untreatable, rare and unfortunate condition that results in the involuntary and compulsive insertion of apostrophes into otherwise correctly spelled words more or less at random.
Daytona RS6 C5 Avant. Viper'd, Billies, Waggers, MTM box brain, C6 stoppers, xcarlink, R8 coolant cap (woohoo)
///M3 E46 | XC90 (V8, natch) | Passat GTE | RR Classic V8 flapper

I’ve taken the liberty in contacting AITP and enquiring on a club stand for us. (Hope that’s alright) Audi-Sport and Audi SRS have one already according to the organiser. Here’s the transcript from facef!@k.

Audis Inthepark
Hi mate. RS246 have not applied for a club stand. We do have Audi-Sport and Audi SRS though. I don't charge for a club pitch but do need to know if you'll be coming along as a club so I can allocate space.
Simply pay on the gate (£6 per car) and tell my gate staff you’re with RS246.

Gavla
Okay will post this on the Forum - hopefully we have about 6 so far - will try and generate some more so watch this space. Will let you know the final numbers during the week - hopefully in double figures ;-)

Audis Inthepark
No problem buddy. Just let me know and I'll squeeze you in.

If we can generate some more interest that would be good as I missed out on the national meet this year due to family commitments. Post below again your confirmations and let’s get RS246 members up there. :kissmyrings:

1. Gavla
2.
RS4 (B7) Saloon Phantom Black, Black Optics, Tech Pack, KW Lowering Spring Kit, Stern Adjustable Arms, MRC Stage 2, Stage 1 Manifold, CAF, LOBA Stage 1 Clutch,
447ps/490nm (MRC), Scorpion Exhaust Non-Res Black Tips, Pre-cats gutted, Shadow Black Chrome Alloys, Viper Alarm, LED Interior lights, Tints
