yup, traffic always has a chance of fckuing up best laid plans

but the A1 is a pretty sweet route, very few lorrys and mostly quite .... a few roundabouts for good measure to breakout the monotony of a motorway, and the A1(M) at Peterborough has 4 lanes and is empty most of the time, so we can do 4 car drags

Just had a quick go through the Hatfield Tunnel..... Back windows open... then a stupid pr*ck stuck in front of me, doing 50 the whole way. Grrrrr

Think we should try 2 x 3 abreast when the time comes ?

Don't know why I didn't think of this before.......
There's a great stretch of back-road that leads straight from the back of South Mimms services.
Is gotta be almost two miles long and "back in the day" the TR6 boys used to use it as a drag.

It'll take us through a couple of villages and then intersects the A1 again, just before the tunnel.

Just up the road from me, so I'll try to track it tomorrow on the Pogo Alert (if it turns up).
