You can go to Brunters on your own. We were only allowed on a fri pm....£50 and hour, min 2 hours. And only if it's free.

Appreciate this kind of event is not everyone's cup of tea - but I don't know of any track where you can properly reach VMAX in your chosen weapon! I'll feed back any comments RE the facilities ETC

I absolutely had a cracking day out last time and it's a chance for everyone to get together again and have a bit of banter, chat about our cars/mods ETC and take PAX rides for those offering/brave enough

Kev.
It was a laugh last time and you got up sit in my car whilst I got launch control all wrong :)

They see if you asked specifically for it, but it wasn't ran in a way that there was published results
In fact, I got the impression there were no results available at all and they'd somehow been lost as all I saw was a string of excuses and still, to this day, nothing's been published

Yes, it was a fun day. But I got the impression the organiser provided as little as possible but charged as much as they could feasibly get away with
On the day there must've been 150 cars and at £250each, there's no way it cost him £37,500 to rent the strip for a day and provide 2 safety crew

Yes, I enjoyed it, but good value it wasn't as there was no speed read out, a burger van that ran out by mid morning and not really anything else
I take it we can't just book bruntingthorpe ourselves for a morning and do it between us ?
That's what crossed my mind when I enquired .... The forum could organise them selves . Get the speed app and save a few squid

Yep - that's the way Louie - they tend to do everything over email - kinda 'fight club' rules in some respects!

There's nothing like sitting on the line, booting the throttle and just revving to the limiter and going nowhere :)

Has anyone else had this type of experience, kinda puts me off, now our own day must be an option??

If there's no exit trap speed results, you may as well save your £250 and just use the nearby M45 instead...... :sekret:
