Her indoors reluctantly agreed, so I'm booked on and good to go

The tyres on my RS4 are down to about 3 point something now, so this will be a nice farewell to what's left before I get some new ones :)

Just spoke to Chris the only car that was too loud at Spa was the Porsche race car, with your valves shut you will have no issues at Donington.

Im off work that day so its a maybe, will cost me a bit to get trailer hire etc, however I would like to test the car with new brake set up.

Its an awesome track guys, as Paul said I races there yesterday ( 3 races). It is a greasy track due to it being under the runway so if wet damp then be careful..
Money can't buy you love, but it can buy you a well sorted racecar

That's not a bad idea. Donnington is a little over 2hours for me, and needing to be there at 08:00 will mean another super early start..

Its a long day otherwise, Donington is about three hours for me, three hours in the Exige then all day on track, no thanks. I will take a leisurely drive up Friday. The Rad is five mins from the circuit.

I've just had the confirmation through from trackdays, and briefing is at 07:30, so that'd be a 05:00 start for me from Swindon
I'll get a hotel or local mates guest room sorted as I'm not an early morning person :(
Looks like a nice track and it's one of the few I've never quite got around to visiting. Much like Bedford, it's got nice big run offs, so if you do have to avoid someone, you're options arnt limited to wall or armco..
Looking forward to it, and be good if we can get a decent sized group from 246. Sunday's RR day showed just how many active members there are and there's a decent amount of track experience between us too.

She's sometimes the 'Investment committee' too depending on what I'm buying and whether she's up to speed on retail prices..
Luckily for me, she knows diddly squit about car and watch prices, but is unfortunately rather hot on bikes and clothing, which causes a problem..
My garage is currently full of 'bikes borrowed from mates' and my wardrobe full of clothes 'picked up in the sales'

A true, but terrifying story is that i have a mate from school who runs an F10 M5 that he told his wife he got as compensation from BMW when his 335i engine went pop..
He couldn't tell her that they offered him such a good PX on his 3series after the warranty work, that he stumped up an extra 60k.... It's become almost a standing joke amongst my group

Steering committee in the war office. The latter is mobile and can pop anywhere from Sainsbury to the garden. Getting agreement to look at a fecking car is hard enough, practically had the silent treatment for test driving the c7. Doesn't help the endless piles of propaganda that Audi pour through my letterbox. They shouldn't print the prices.

Prob not going to do this as it will cost me nearly £500 (cost of a entry fee), also need to refurb box and replace pads, so rather have the money in my pocket. Enjoy fellas its an awesome track
