I've done this a few times with the 350Z owners (between 40 and 50 of us). We stayed at Moreton Lodge near Wrexham (Shell station less than a mile away) and then went down to Bala for lunch and up to the triangle in the afternoon, stopping at the pub for a photo opportunity.

Don't forget that the local police have lazer bikes and a helicopter, this route is very popular with bikers and others and the NSL is rigorously enforced
