Let's face it, we have 3 people paid up for a minimum of 12... My Mrs hasn't got a sister, so why not put the offer on the table Dave iR2D2. Need to act quickly, only got until Monday to sort this out.

What's more annoying is that we apparently may have won an award. Been there and done that many times, not doing it again. One year I'm going to do the RS246 awards; we can discuss categories and potential contenders in a separate thread!!

I'd be happy to accept the award on behalf of 246. However, it's entirely possible that my acceptance speech will ensure you never receive another award.
No matter where you go, there you are.

In my infinate internet wisdom, I'd never even found the 'trackdays and meets' section of RS246, so had booked up the SRS session on the track as didn't know there was a 246 one in discussion
I think, much like here, they're struggling to get numbers, so unless both groups combine, there won't be sessions for either

Bigger numbers would help I'm sure...

PhilT - Can this be made a x-forum thread for awareness?

You can get it.
Rule of thumb is £100 per £10,000

Mmm, that makes £640 for a 15minite track session as I'm not fussed about doing the whole day
It's an odd conundrum as I know I'm 'reasonably' capable and sensible, but you only need one person to overcook it and steam into you in a corner and it becomes an expensive nightmare
Or, I just get it wrong or slip on a patch of oil...

Shame I can't bring my van ;)

What's everyone else doing ?

The whole point of a 'forum' session is in theory, its reduced risk as everyone has their pride and joy on track and is sharing it with people they 'know'.

Accidents happen, but so does <beep>.

This was why I aiming to use the club session to take my RS4 out. I've done track sessions a few times at combe before in other cars on other public days and the standard of driving can be pretty damn poor at times. I'm assuming the audi day will have a better standard (other than the obvious tailgating we audi drivers generally get associated with :audibash: ), and then a forum session would step it up another level to make it likely to be accident free, but you never know

However, seeing as we only appear to have 5names accross both 246 and SRS forums for this dedicated session, the worry is largely irrelevant as it's unlikely to go ahead... Just have to get p'ed in Swindon saturday night instead to drown my sorrows ....
