One more question guys. Does the £15 include entry into the actual event. Sorry if this is obvious or has been answered already.

I may also be able to persuade my FIL to come too with his V8 R8.

If we make the magic 10 cars, will we be able to get a different entry basis?

You just need to use the info in my post and pay by the 29th June.

Unfotunately I think it will be too late to see if we can get a group pitch. If you can get him to come that will be great, i can just email the organisers to add 1 more car to the list. No harm in having another R8!

I am not sure how many from the list have already paid and who havn't so dont know how many are actually coming at the moment.

I was going to put up reminder posts next week and a week before the closing date just in case anyone has forgotten.

How are we doing with this guys? Assume we do t have a stand but do have some sort of parking? I’ve been to this show a lot so trying to work out in my head where they are putting us if not on a stand? What info do you have at the moment?

We don't have a stand, as we didn't have enough people at the point of being selected, but we are in with the 'Solos', which I believe is just the single cars or small groups who didn't have the requisite numbers for a pitch.

I am not sure how the singles section works, didn't get much info from that and unfortunately this will be the first time I have been so you would be better placed on how it was set up before, I may be given more information when the order date has passed and the bands are sent out.

TBH its been like getting blood from a stone asking for information from the organisers, they answer 1 question but that in turn leads to several other questions which don't always get answered, despite several emails asking.

I can ask if there is a specific space set out or if it is a park the order you arrive in. If it is park in the order you arrive I suggest a meeting spot beforehand and we can all drive in 1 group.

I am coming from Newark outskirts so I am looking at finding a place to stay the Friday night, not sure where the rest of you guys are coming from.

Wicked! I will email the organisers today and say there have been a couple of extra people that will be getting tickets. I don't see it being a problem but will double check.

Just a quick reminder that the date to get your tickets by is June 29th.

I don't know what will happen after that as I didn't get a reply to that last time and I have been fairly busy the last 2 weeks so haven't had a chance to really chase, maybe an Apache will visit your house or, more likely, they will reassess the numbers that have bought tickets.

I have booked to stay in The Richard Onslow in Cranleigh and will be staying their Friday night and driving home when the day is done.

I'll try my best to get any extra information but if you guys just get your tickets then we can sort out meeting points nearer the time.

I asked regarding the extra numbers and gave an updated list of car and also what the set up will be on the day. This is the response i got:

As you can see very hard to get any proper information regarding the actual set up. The extra cars are good to go and if we can get 12 cars then we get a pitch apparently.

So anyone who may know someone not on the forums that may be interested get them involved or anyone that has been lurking( ) that was on the fence get your name down so we can get a pitch.

Okay, thanks! (well, I'm reading my previous message now, and it's unclear, but yes, if I can make the car work, I'll be coming in it ; Lille isn't that far)
But if someone from the community has previous experience with the older S-series, I may be asking a lot of questions, since it's my first time renovating a quality car... It's miles away from the ancient Romanian-made GAZ-69 jeep from the 70s and Citroen 2CV we brought back to life with a couple friends!
