My car's at the bodyshop now - and I added a couple of bits to the job, so there's a chance I might be rocking up in a hairdresser's car instead of the RS...

Anyone live in Surrey and able to get the flags from Baz this week? I completely forgot!!!

As Ian mentioned, you'll probably be fine just telling them at the gate that you're on the RS246 stand, but if you PM your address over, I'll send you a pass tomorrow anyway. Just in case.

You'll be fine, they have zero interest arguing on the gate, they want to get the cars in as quick as possible as they will be backed up down the road in both directions. Have a tenner ready! The main gate we take is Joe public and club stands, so there isn't any nervous queuing like you are trying to get into a nightclub aged 17 again!

I Might pop over for a bit, but not sure if I'll have my car as currently awaiting it to get picked up for repair as some stupid women didn't put her handbrake on properly in a car park last week, and her car rolled into the front of mine taking paint off the bumper and putting a big dent in my wing

Audi Driver International provides a great day out for all Audi owners and enthusiasts, at the famous Castle Combe race circuit near Chippenham in Wiltshire.

As well as fast-lapping sessions on the circuit throughout the day, there are demo drives and parade laps, and the paddock area provides many additional attractions including trade stands and displays, a Show ’n’ Shine and Concours, club line-ups and displays, a technical forum, car sales and autojumble area.

For those who want to make a whole day of it, the event continues into the evening at the Hilton Hotel in Swindon, with a reception, gala dinner and presentation of the Annual Audi Driver Awards, followed by a disco and bar.

Spectators are welcome at Castle Combe during the day. The gates are open to the public from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm and admission costs just £10 per adult (children free of charge) Sorry but, to comply with circuit regulations, no dogs are allowed.

The organisers have sent me a club stand registration form, which I'll return today for 15 cars - I can amend later if need be.

There's no additional cost to being on the stand. Other costs (e.g. track sessions) are on their website.

There's a 24hr shell garage 7min away (SN5 5XS) in case anyone wants to fill up before meeting and driving to the show (probably a good idea if you're going on track).

Just to prewarn you all. The junction coming into Costa is having some work being done to it, so although you can get in ok, you'll have to go down the D/C and around the roundabout before going back to the Motorway junction. It's less than half mile each way, so not miles

Faisal, I'm sure you won't mind, I'll post some directions to the circuit a few days before the event. Do not under any circumstances take that single track lane again! I left you all to it and went the normal way around the top of Chippenham, I would strongly recommend everyone else does the same.

Couple of updates:

- RS246 have been nominated for an award, in the "Club Events" category. There's an awards dinner in the evening on Saturday. If you'd be interested in going along and representing the forum (and possibly collecting an award), I believe it's £35/head. Let me know and I'll get details. I've let Phil know too

- Permission has been granted for 20 cars on track at a time (instead of 12), so should help reduce queues to get on track.
