Loving the additions to this thread! Keep em coming.

1781cc - TT looks great! Have you also done the haldex insert mod? From what I read, it allows a more predictable 50:50 F to R split rather than the usual "up to 70:30"?

The 'Project Veyrog' TT that Evo magazine built years ago made me always consider a TT track monster, an easy 300bhp in a little coupe, and 50/50 fwd would be rapid round a track, but not very exciting I don't think and I wanted to get away from Audi for this project anyway.

Had another day out in our mighty Gti6 at castle Combe yesterday (4th track day), spent £40 on fuel that's 2 drivers beating it round all day, she impressed & shocked so many people.

Still only £700 in (£350 each)

if you were closer I would have said come along one day and I'll take you out and you can make your mind up - its better than you might think, and project veyrog was a half arsed attempt, he didn't do this:

Heres mine, I started off with the intention of it being a "cheap" track car, but has since spiralled into a not so "cheap" track car. Not in a bad way mind, after owning a 205 for well over 20yrs I have learnt how to spend money pointlessly..... I learnt from that and now have a pretty capable car with all my hard earned spent in the right places. Its a handy bit of kit IMO and holds up well on the track...especially round the bends.

Good pics of the pug!

Came across this vid from EVO magazine, which illustrates nicely what a light track focused hatch is capable of on track. Ok its not a cheap one, but the fact it's 320hp down on the R8, I think the result is impressive!

Good sessions on Bedford on the 4th, just to give you an idea of some of the potential of the TT on track - and there is more to come tuning wise/driver skill wise as I improve on both (hopefully) :audibash:

Haha well done Faisal. You are going to have LOL fun. Enjoy  I'd have ripped the flaps off (ooo err) before driving off.

Larkspeed is the cheapest place for ARB's if it doesn't already have uprated ones? DK has just bought some for his, so will no doubt be able report back on how they transform the handling.

What's the spec of the car then currently?
