I may be up for this too if I may.

I've done this a couple of times over the last year with a group that I regularly drive with (inc Alps every year and northern France 2-3 times a year).

I'd highly recommend that anyone doing this invests in a decent PMR radio. They normally come in pairs so you could do a deal with another driver. It makes overtaking so much easier when you have a car ahead telling you that the road is clear etc. However, it does take a bit of coordination on who is speaking (normally the lead car using "clear" or "car" as the phrases). Also well worth getting a headset for the PMR radio so you can hear it easily over the noise!
Not the greatest of clips but this gives you an idea of one of my mates helping the 8 cars behind him (inc me): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m4MOweyFlYc

That looks pretty epic Asif! Watch out for the cows

I've done Evo triangle in a group before too and radios were invaluable. Like Asif said, most of us had headsets, or otherwise some people had passengers dealing with the radio.

It came in especially useful when an unmarked Skoda VRS estate thingy joined the back of the group, and the car at the back let him past, saw all the aerials and radio'd ahead! Apparently some of the local residents didn't appreciate the Tubi on the Ferrari 360 in the group and had called the police (even though we were only pottering through villages). We got stopped by a marked car shortly after but were let on our way after a chat.

Stupid glorified fiat with it's max power exhaust :biggrin3:

All this talk of the 'EVO Triangle' and videos got me thinking this week. I had a meeting in Nottingham Monday morning and then in Newport South Wales Tuesday, so thought I would go between the two and take in this special place 'en-route' (sort of!!!!) and see what the fuss is all about. Well apart from the rain and wind it was SUPERB! Loved it! It would be great to do it in the dry and in convoy would be good fun too. Certainly doing it in both directions was good, gives a different sensation. I only wish I did it a few more times!

Not sure if I can do the 12th/13th (certainly would like to) but have kid's sporting commitments that weekend and will have to see nearer the time. It would be good to meet with some of you guys.

Attached are some of the pictures I took on my phone so quality not brilliant (coupled with the rain) but I guess it shows how mad we all are! The last two were in mid-wales heading south to Newport (not quite sure where though). A lot of single track roads with walls and hedges so not the best drive for going fast, I should've taken the wife's Disco!
